Rodarte for Target

Runway clothing for the recessionista.
No doubt most of you have heard that Target has snapped up Rodarte.
The International series of limited collections - The Target series, which has included beloved designers and runway darlings like Erin Fetherston. The series focuses on the young and rising designers, in an attempt at growing their appeal by lowering the price of the collection (perfect for those who do not have jobs, or are just feeling the crunch in the current climate)

 Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sister team behind the entrancing and ethereal designs shown under the Rodarte name, will be releasing a collection scheduled to launch on December and only lasting through till February 6, 2010. The collection of 55 looks of the go-international line will feature knee-highs starting at just $9.99 and will max out (without maxing your credit card out) at a leopard print jacket for $79.99.

Though I’m sure this is only American Target – One can only hope something similar will find its way to Australia
