Raw-hide

A leather needle is designed to actually cut the leather each time it pierces it.

Leather is a durable and flexible material created via the tanning of putrescible animal rawhide and skin, primarily cattlehide.
In the leather industry, the skin and rawhide are by-products of the meat industry, because the meat has greater commercial value than the rawhide and skin.

Although in theory a t-shirt should be relatively simple to sew and construct, i'm very picky about the fit - So I created the base pattern, a first muslin toile, and a final toile before I even touched the lambskin. Sewing with leather is a beautiful feeling, I could have kept doing it until I ran out of leather to sew, it must be something to do with the way it glides through the foot and the way the needle pierces it. This leather is so soft and buttery, I keep making people touch it.
I wore this outfit last week but only just got a chance to take photos!

Very impressive and all the more special because you made it yourself. I can't quite tell from the photos whether you left the edges raw? xx

Great job on the leather t-shirt, I can tell from these photos that the leather is really supple! It looks fantastic on you and great with the skirt and the shoes, another reminder on how badly I want to get my hands on some creepers.

It is obvious how much inspiration you draw from Luxirare in terms of photo composition and editing but personally I think that you look like a bit of a 'copy cat.' And don't you feel very old wearing clothes like this? Not saying that they don't look good but you are 17, right? Sometimes you should dress your age, and act that way too. You are only young once, don't throw that away.

Haha i deleted my comment by mistake, I still stand by what I said. You are so pretentious and deluded. Why don't you wake up and start concentrating on school instead of thinking you are some avant garde fashionista. Your posts are just an exercise in self indulgence and delusion. Grow up and while you are at it maybe eat a sandwich or some form of solid food!

your hair is so damaged and dry at the ends, you should get it cut and give it a good treatment. Not to be rude but do you eat properly because you look a little too thin and this may be affecting your skin and hair.

Clearly this anonymous person knows nothing about clear skin & lovely hair. I highly doubt Madeleine airbrushes her photos & I have seen her in the city before & there is not one flaw with her skin. I can say the same for her hair. She clearly takes excellent care of herself & it is reflected in how she is presented. I think it would be wise for you to stop commenting with meaningless, rude words. Don't bring down other people just because you have your own problem.
And Madeleine this top is absolutely divine, you're extremely talented love! I absolutely love it all.

Why do some of you people hate so much? Can't you accept that people are the way that they are, and that you have no right to tear them down!
I think that Maddie is a beautiful person and has one of the most beautiful souls to go with it.
She is gorgeous on every level and I admire her for her outgoing ness, her originality and just because she is a very pure person.

love you Maddie and I check your blog every day because I just love it :)
