Drape in, Drape out

In 4 days, I will be free from the shackles of high school and released from the wearing of a school uniform 5 days a week. It feels amazing, to be nearly free and as my 25 year old friend puts it "become a real person" when he wants to spite me about my age.

Expect to see posts more often now, I no longer have this drain on my time and my ability to wear something that isn't maroon and white and the only blazers I have to wear don't makeme look like a school boy from the 50's (and not in a cute way)
Anyway, I had been wanting the most gorgeous Alexander Wang dress and decided to purchase it before the other dress I wanted (the Shakuhachi drape in and out dress) which sold out on pre-order and then again on release.

Saving money is hard for me, and when I saw that someone had returned the Shakuhachi dress on My Catwalk I knew it was meant to be.
Less than 24 hours later and the dress arrived in my hands and was everything I had hoped for (though it is trickier to put on than I imagined)

Worn with my Joe's Jeans Suede Wedges, Chanel Jade Nail-polish and a couple of my usual rings.

I never understood why people spent hundreds of dollars on an item by a designer brand when they could just buy a cheaper version from a chain store. That perception changed when I started reading your blog. The thrill you get from saving and putting the money towards something beautiful and unique was so enticing to me, and because of you, I bought a YSL Arty ring from Net-A-Porter yesterday. Thank you for showing me how addictive high fashion can be, and how rewarding it is to own an item that will stand the test of time!

The dress is gorgeous. I know what it's like trying to save money. As for one, I am jobless at the moment. And then you see all these nice things online from Reborn/Seven. So annoying. And congrats on finishing school.
