Tatehana

So yesterday, the moment I have been waiting for finally arrived. And if you follow me on twitter - you know what this is about.
I came home from school to see a large box sitting on my desk. I knew what it contained instantly.
I was pretty much paralyzed. After gathering my composure I started to unveil what can only be described as one of the most perfect pairs of shoes in existence. Ones that I have been in love with for a very very long time. Before I even knew that the amazing designer, Noritaka Tatehana - was Lady Gaga's custom shoe maker.

It was an absolute honor to have Noritaka entrust his exquisite works with me. And to slide my feet into the shoes that Chanel Iman wore for her editorial in The Block and who knows who else had worn. These structurally and aesthetically perfect shoes gave me a buzz I had never received from an item of clothing before. And I discovered a few things..
Firstly, there was almost too much pleasure and satisfaction in the doing up of the zippers.
Secondly, the shoes are actually very easy to walk in - I can see how Gaga can do it all day.
and Thirdly (I could go on longer, but 3 is a nice number) I was nearly 7 feet tall.

Credits for this post are:

So with out anymore rambling, what you are really here for..

They make me swoon. The pink is strangely alluring, but I would kill for them in black.

I don't like them anymore. Don't get me wrong, they were good at first - I'm all about things that are new and different, odd shapes, things that catch the eye, etc.. but these.. I just. I guess I am so over lady gaga and all I can think of when I see these is her.

Amazing shoes, but would be soooo much better in black, plus you could wear them with so many more outfits.

How on earth could you afford to buy these????

Also... Do they fit you properly? Are they meant to stick out the back like that?
